Michael R. Williams, DO, MD, MBA, is President of the UNT Health Science Center at Fort Worth. UNTHSC includes the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the School of Public Health, the School of Health Professions, and the UNT System College of Pharmacy.  UNT Health is one of the area’s largest multi-specialty clinical practice groups.

Dr. Williams earned his Bachelor’s degree from Texas Wesleyan University; a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the University of North Texas Health Science Center; a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Ross University; a Master of Business Administration from Duke University, and a Master’s in Health Care Management from Harvard University.

Under his 2008-2013 leadership as CEO of Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg, Texas, the hospital was named one of the Nation’s 100 Top Hospitals® by Thomson Reuters for two consecutive years, and received numerous patient experience recognitions from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
